6 Natural Ways To Stop And Heal Receding Gums

The problem of receding gums is also referred to as “Gingival Recession’’. It is frequently found in people over the age of 40 years. It is caused by factors such as aggressive brushing, bacterial build up, consumption of tobacco and improper oral hygiene.It may result in red or inflamed gums, pain, change in teeth colour, sensitive teeth, gum bleeding, bad breath and so on. Natural Cures for Receding Gums

1. Sage

Sage is also known as “Salvia Officinalis’’. You can rub sage leaves on the gums to obtain relief.

You can also create a solution by boiling sage leaves in water and apply this solution on the gums with the help of a cotton ball several times in a day. This solution can also be used for rinsing the mouth.

2. Clove

Clove has anti-inflammatory properties. You can apply clove oil on the affected areas to reduce the pain resulting from receding gums.

You can also prepare a mouthwash by boiling cloves and cinnamon bark in fresh water for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse your mouth with this solution. It is advisable to keep this solution in the refrigerator and use it for a minimum period of 1 week.
